Getting started, answers to common questions and how to reach us.
Getting started
- Open the Sessions tab and tap New session, or start from a template. A name and an age group are all you need.
- Tap Add activities, pick from the library and adjust the minutes. Clock times appear once you set a start time.
- Check the Materials tab and tick what you have; go through the Prep tab before the children arrive.
- Tap Start timer when you are ready. The timer starts paused, so you can press Start when everyone is in place.
Sessions and templates
How do I reuse a good session?
Open it, tap the menu and choose Duplicate session (the copy has no date and no ticks) or Save as template. Templates are under More › Templates.
What do Draft, Ready and Done mean?
They are labels for you: mark a session ready once the plan is set, and done after you have played it. The timer offers Mark session as done at the end.
How does search work?
Search finds sessions by name, #tag, activity, age group or date, for example 18/10/2026, Sat 18 Oct or October.
Activities
Why can activities only be 5 to 15 minutes?
Short blocks keep attention and make switching easy. For a longer game, add it twice or use +1 min in the timer.
What does “not listed for this age group” mean?
The activity was written for other ages. You can still use it; check that it suits your children and adapt it.
Are the activities safe?
They are general, everyday games without risky elements, each with a safety note. Always supervise children and adapt activities to their age, abilities and space.
Timer
I don’t hear the signal.
Check that Sound is on (speaker icon at the top of the timer or More › Settings) and that the media volume of the phone is up. Vibration can be switched on as well.
Will music from another app stop?
No. The tone plays on top of music without pausing it.
What is saved after a run?
The date, the minutes actually played and how many activities were completed. You find it in the session’s Log tab and in the Overview.
Export, backup and data
How do I share a plan?
Open the session, tap Export and choose PDF or text. You can include how to play, materials, the checklist and notes.
How do I move to a new phone?
More › Your data › Share backup or Save to folder creates a JSON file. On the new phone use Import a backup and choose Add or Replace.
How do I delete my data?
Delete single entries in the app, use More › Your data › Delete all data, or uninstall the app.
