Privacy
Privacy policy
This policy covers the Android app Indoor Play Session Planner (version 1.0.0) and the website indoorplaysessionplanner.lol. In short: the app keeps everything on your phone and sends nothing.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
For questions about privacy, and for requests to access or delete data, write to [email protected]. This is the only contact address for support and privacy.
2. What the app processes
The app only processes what you enter yourself: play sessions (name, date, start time, age group, an optional number of children, room, tags, notes), the activities in each session with their minutes, materials and notes, ticks on the materials list and the preparation checklist, your own activities and templates, settings, timer runs (date, minutes played, activities completed) and the history of changes to each session.
3. Stored only on your phone
All data is kept in the app’s private storage on your device. There is no account, no server and no cloud sync. The app has no internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere. We, the developers, receive none of your data and cannot see or restore it.
4. Children
The app is made for parents and carers, not for children, and it is not directed at children. It does not ask for children’s names, photos, ages of individual children or any other information about them; a session only has an age group label and, if you wish, the number of children taking part. Please do not type children’s personal details into free-text notes.
5. Export, sharing and backups
Data leaves your phone only when you choose to: you can share or save a session plan as a PDF or text, and share or save a backup of all data as a file, using the Android share menu or a folder you pick. What happens to those files afterwards is governed by the app or storage location you chose. When you import a backup, the app reads the file you picked locally.
6. Permissions
The app uses one permission: vibration, so the open timer screen can vibrate when it is time to switch activities. It does not use location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files, and it sends no notifications. Files are opened and saved only through Android’s own pickers.
7. No adverts, no analytics, no tracking
The app contains no adverts, no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools, no advertising ID and no in-app purchases.
8. How long data is kept
Your data stays until you delete it: single entries in the app, everything under More › Your data › Delete all data, or by uninstalling the app. Exported files stay wherever you saved or sent them.
9. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party services; fonts and images are served from our own server. The server may keep short-lived technical access logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) to keep the site running securely.
10. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Because we receive no data from the app, you can exercise these rights directly in the app. For anything else, write to [email protected].
11. Changes
If the way the app handles data changes, we will update this policy and publish the new version on this page.
Applies to version 1.0.0 of the app.
